The Platinum Coast

The Platinum Coast is the stretch of coastline along Barbados’s west side, home to wonderful beaches, world-renowned restaurants and more than a few famous faces. If your idea of paradise is lying on powder-soft sand, listening to the sparkling turquoise sea lapping at the shore whilst bathing in a warm breeze, you’re in the right place at The Legend! Take a walk down our driveway – once an old sugar mill road – and you’ll find yourself at Mullins Bay, one of the most popular beaches on the Platinum Coast.

If you choose to rent a car or jump on one of the frequent buses going up and down the coast, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the number of wonderful beaches to visit. The calm, clear waters of the Caribbean Sea make this coast perfect for snorkelling, or just enjoy a long stroll along the beach, collect shells, then lay back and gaze at a breathtaking sunset.

Mullins has plenty of watersports on offer so is ideal for thrill-seekers, as well as loungers to rent and a lively beach bar. If you’re looking for something more tranquil, Gibbs Bay, a five-minute walk along the shore offers quiet relaxation.
